OOPS! You are not old enough to access our website
Brazilian law prohibits anyone under the age of 18 from accessing advertisements and information related to online gaming and sports betting.
We do this to help protect you, as well as other children, teenagers, and people in vulnerable situations.
This restriction is established in Annex X (exclusive to betting operators), issued by CONAR (Brazil’s National Council for Advertising Self-Regulation), the private organization responsible for overseeing ethical standards in Brazilian advertising.
When a betting operator complies with the law, it uses facial recognition and other age-verification mechanisms to prevent children, teenagers, and vulnerable individuals from accessing online gambling services.
Here’s an important tip: Avoid using betting websites or apps that allow unrestricted access without any age verification. This is one of the main warning signs that your safety and security may be at risk.
Below are some excerpts from CONAR’s Annex X:
“Betting advertisements must pay special attention to the need to protect children, adolescents, and other people in vulnerable situations.”
“Betting advertisements must not feature children or adolescents as participants or target audiences. (…) Therefore: a. all advertisements must clearly display an ’18+’ symbol or a ‘Not for persons under 18 years of age’ notice.”
“The websites and social media profiles of Advertisers and betting-related brands must implement available age-restriction mechanisms (age gating) to limit visibility and access to users who declare that they are over 18 years of age, the minimum legal age for these activities.”
