The governance of IBJR is structured through different working committees, where its members can operate in sector-specific areas. They are:

• Compliance: Ensuring that the sector operates within the standards established by regulations, especially those of the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA), part of the Ministry of Finance;
• Communication: Contributing to the sector’s reputation and positioning with various audiences, including advertising campaigns, media relations, and other stakeholders;
• Responsible Gambling: Ensuring that betting operators follow best practices, aligning industry activities with current regulations, and monitoring developments related to responsible gambling and sports integrity;
• Legal: Monitoring and defending the sector on issues common to the association’s members;
• Illegal Market: Actively contributing to the fight against unlicensed betting operators, which negatively impact the industry and cause harm to both bettors and society as a whole;
• Government Relations: Engaging in dialogue and maintaining communication with authorities in favor of a regulated market.
